Q: Was this a Rambam Bekius chavurah or a Tefilah shiur? A: Both! This afternoon (11/29/21) I decided to "borrow" my Rambam Bekius slot to give a Tefilah shiur. We were scheduled to complete our current tefilah sugya this Tuesday, but I realized I'd be canceling that shiur on account of a Chanukah event that will take place in yeshiva. Since we were going to focus on the Rambam's shitah anyway, I figured it made sense to do so in our Rambam Bekius setting. Our goal was simple: to understand as much as we could of the Rambam's parameters for which changes in tefilah are acceptable and unacceptable. Although I can't say we figured EVERYTHING out, we managed to get the basics.
