Parents who have a wealth mindset take ownership of their children's foundational learning which establishes confidence, character, and a mindset of abundance as they navigate today's ever changing world. It is creating space for our children to learn and grow from their mistakes, foster communication where our children are seen and heard, and build a culture of encouragement and agency that our children can carry over in other areas of their lives.
In this episode, special guest, Melinda Desmarattes discusses the importance of instilling a wealth mindset in children. She shares the pivotal role a mindset of this nature plays in the lives of growing children whose foundational life learning should begin at home. She encourages parents to teach their children foundational principles that heighten self-advocacy, induce healthy communication, employ fearlessness in asking questions, and build ownership of mistakes while avoiding toxic parenting in the process.

She is currently developing Investing in Wealth as an online, education platform dedicated to empowering parents with the knowledge and resources to instill a wealth mindset in their children. Melinda promotes that mindset and education are crucial in shaping the younger generation's future success and financial well-being.
