The biggest barrier to change has always been culture. When personal computers were new to the workplace, many employees stuffed their computer into a corner and treated it as furniture or viewed it as something for just the secretary to work with. Now it’s difficult to think of a job that doesn’t require any use of a computer. We’ve come a long way since then, but that just goes to show you that transformation rarely goes well in the workplace. In fact, most businesses are probably 50-75 years behind the times due to resisting change! The addition of AI is currently the biggest disruptor of company culture due to the massive number of layoffs affecting mostly white-collar jobs. Managers now need a little guidance on how to handle changing attitudes in the workplace. Today host Jack Russo and David White discuss the broader view of the workplace changing under AI.
