This week Jen Curcio (storyteller, Cara and Jen's Sleepover Party) joins Shaughn and Ellen to complain about day jobs!

Before getting into the whine and wine Shaughn and Ellen launch a new segment, Grape of the Week! This week they cover Sauvignon Blanc--from what it tastes like to classic regions and stellar pairings.

They also reveal more mailbag results: the listeners have been writing in with their grocery store wine purchases!

Jen's current day job right now is giving her grief being as she's a graphic designer with a title that earns less money. Shaughn and Ellen pair the whine with a wine that was MADE for night: Henriques & Henriques 10 Year Verdelho Madeira!

The history of Madeira is complex and fascinating and Shaughn and Ellen break down the origins of this almost-a-dessert fortified wine. At a 20% alcohol by volume it will take away the woes of any day gig!

In between wine facts they discuss the worst day jobs they ever had--alcohol rooms, dogs and hot tubs--let's just say life in LA is wild. Wild enough for Ellen, Shaughn and Jen to break themselves in multiple ways from car accidents to (potentially egg-related) food poisoning.
