Live from Shaughn's living room! Mixups at UCB led to a home-brewed podcast. This week Shaughn and Ellen welcome Morgan Fox who reps wines from Mosaic and Sacred Thirst.

But first Shaughn's hip sip tip is Italian rosé! There is light rosé beyond Provence! Ellen's hip sip tip is about where to find good natural wine--look to producers from Burgundy--they've been making great wines for centuries and know that good wine just happens to be organic and/or biodynamic. Do your producer research!

Morgan brought Shaughn and Ellen grower Champagne! But first they gossip about Thibaud Boudignon--a rising star from the Loire. You'd have to try to not like it. And you'd fail.

The Champagne, Michel Gonet Brut Grand Cru, is from a winery led by a woman. The future is female! Michel was the founder but now Sophie Gonet carries the torch! Morgan schools Shaughn and Ellen on the Champagne riots of 1911. Before that, growers were not allowed to make their own Champagne.

Morgan also gives his top three tips for people getting into wine, gives the rundown of what wines he had at his wedding, and talks about not becoming a wine snob! Drink it up.
