I started my real estate journey in November 2020 while making the decision to leave a successful career at Bell Helicopter. It was NOT an easy decision, but I made that tough decision because I saw the potential in what a focus in real estate could offer me.
Real Estate is not for everyone. Getting your license is just the beginning, and there are a few additional steps that must be completed before you can even qualify for taking the licensing exams. Where are you going to get your leads? How are you going to build trust with the clients you have? What's going to happen to happen if you are not able to close any deals? How do you decide which brokerage to work with?
I break down the steps you need to take to get started and also point out some pros and cons of what every real estate agent will expect along the way.
