With famous top 100 podcaster and former national motocross racer Robert Leonard, we discuss his story of getting into real estate by accident. On his first day of college, his dad told him that once he graduated, he would have to start paying him rent to live at his house. He thought this was pretty fair... but wondered if there was a way around paying this rent. So... he decided to buy a house instead. Everyone thought he was crazy... his dad hadn't bought his first house until he was in his 40's and here Robert was, a first generation college student who was planning to that at 22. Three and a half years later, he bought the house and decided to rent it out. He realized that he was basically living there for free... a first real life experience in the amazing world of house hacking.
