The message of the cross should remain simple and pure, without being embedded in human philosophy. This was Paul's mindset when he arrived in Corinth. He preached the message with fear and trembling, making sure that Christ remained the focal point. Today's church should also strive to keep the message of the cross simple and understandable. It is the work of the Holy Spirit to make the Word understandable, so there is no need to add unnecessary philosophy.
