The Lord's leadership remains paramount even in such difficult times. His standards have not changed with what humanity has accepted. Lies, arrogance, bloodthirstiness, and deceit remain things He hates. Despite the hatred and lies from people, a person who fears God should remain pure. This purity can be achieved by asking for His leadership, as the Psalmists say. His Leadership can be achieved through His Word and Holy Spirit.
