Carin Taylor, chief diversity officer at Workday, the human resource management software used by more than 10,000 organizations across the world, says love is an important ingredient to a thriving work environment. She’s on a mission to cure heartbreak in the workplace and restore love and belonging to cultures often riddled with angst and exclusivity.

In this episode, Carin and neurobiology expert Rajkumari Neogy explore the current state of DEIB programming in today’s working world. Founder of Workday’s VIBE Index™, a tool that measures employees’ sense of belonging, Carin shares what she’s learned about overcoming real and perceived barriers to inclusive environments, recounts her experiences of being misjudged (and misjudging others) as a consequence of implicit bias, and lets us in on what it looks like to extend compassion at work.
