There Will Be Bourbon

Matt was the winner of the bourbon giveaway last month and I stole the idea from someone who said that I should have on the podcast whoever it was and drink with them. Well, that is what happened and Matt turned out to be a genuinely interesting guy with a lot worth discussing. Matt is a native Atlantan with a deep appreciation for history, trivia, and scripture, whose claim to fame is that he somehow found a way to interconnect these interests into a book called Finding His Story in History. He went to college thinking he'd be a doctor like his dad, but the Physics buzzsaw ended that dream and he majored in Biology/Horticulture. He also spent a lot of time in the art building, studying art history. He loves to volunteer for causes that support the disabled, disenfranchised, or those looking for connection. This has meant equine (horse) therapy, Team RWB (veterans), and Play Catch, his current project. Matt is the embodiment of what I wanted to do when I first set out to do this podcast; an average American with anything but an average story. Grab a glass! There Will Be Bourbon!
