Well, if anything else you certainly can't say that Jacob doesn't make interesting selections for the show. Who knew that the Audrey Hepburn/Cary Grant classic had a modern retelling, and one that leaned so heavily into the arthouse cinema side as well. But the true question remains: are either of these any good, and do they work as comedies or dramas or whatever they're passing themselves off as? Also in this episode is some very slight praise for Phil Tippett's Mad God, anger towards mashed together soundtracks, creepy mother's with no bearing on story, and an appearance from French film star Charles Aznavour! Not in the podcast necessarily, just in the movie. Sorry for getting your hopes up. All this and more on They Remade It!
