"I hope that you have opportunities to be generous because this is the season for that. We see it here in Third City where people just are willing to step forward in new ways with generosity. That's a good thing. What about taking a little time to slow down and just to reflect at the end of a challenging year? Take some time."
"What if we took that cell phone and just said, You know what? That can go over there for about a day when we're with our family on Thursday. We don't need it. But I need them and I need to hear them."
