Meet Tracey Smith, childhood abuse survivor that turned her dark history of multi-generational abuse in her seemingly-idyllic family into a film that reflects her personal experience of becoming a voice for change. Learn how Tracey transformed her shame into courage and strength in an attempt to heal her wounds and break the cycles of abuse. Tracey is an award-winning creative director and filmmaker who was most recently recognized as an outstanding leader for effecting change and commitment to impact by Warner Media’s Future-is-Female Awards. She is known for her meaningful creativity and emotional stories across platforms through short and feature films, TV commercials, digital experiences, and interactive storytelling. Tracey has served as a juror for The One Show and Cannes Lions and her creativity is recognized by them and many other award shows across the globe such as The Emmy Awards, Webby Awards, ADDY’s, Drum Awards, Creativity, and more. In recent years, her focus has sharpened on exploring the intersection of thoughtful design and impactful storytelling in the service of creating authentic connections.
