Losing a significant amount of weight can be intimidating 😕. But what if you broke down your overall weight loss goal into smaller goal posts? Instead of looking at it as I need to lose 20lbs, can you do four sets of 5lb fat loss? That's the approach for William Grazione, The Educated Dieter.
If you spend time on the field, court, or ice with high level athletes, you'll often hear them saying things like "five more miles," referring to five minutes remaining in a game or match. What they are doing is breaking down the time of play into smaller segments. In hockey, it's common to hear a coach say let's win this period. In basketball or football it's let's win this quarter. And if you want to get even more granular, let's win this shift or this possession.
We can use that same approach when it comes to losing body fat! By chunking your goal into bite size wins, your ability to stay focused and motivated skyrockets.
Lesson: The clearer the path you have to your goals, the more likely you are to achieve them 📈. Keep it stupid simple and steer clear of overwhelm.

Hope this helps,
