IT'S OUR ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! While we don't have a cake to share with you we do have a great selection of guests and events this week to make the one-year anniversary show one of the best in the history of the TigerTalk Podcast. In this forty-eighth (48th) episode of the TigerTalk podcast presented by Northeast Mississippi Community College, host Will Kollmeyer welcomes back NEMCC executive vice president Craig-Ellis Sasser...we just ran out of time last week to get in all the important things Craig-Ellis wanted to talk about...so for the first time in the history of the program we have a back-to-back week guest. In this week's segment, we talk about the Ryder plant and how it is going to benefit our Diesel Technology Program, the Northeast at Ripley campus and even a possible opening date and the new baseball/softball complex that has already had some concrete and drainage pipes laid this early in the process...and we celebrate our International listeners from across the world with nearly 400 downloads from Japan, Sweden, the Netherlands, Brazil, Austrailia, India, and the list goes on and on...so if you are an international listener to the podcast reach out to us at wakollmeyer@nemcc.edu and tell us what you like about the podcast. In the second half of the one-year anniversary show, we welcome back a fan favorite Christopher Schager and discuss his upcoming one-act plays. They are going to be a lot of fun and are slated for Thursday, October 18; Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21 in the Hines Hall auditorium. Showtimes are 7 p.m. for the 18th and 20th shows and a 2 p.m. matinee on the Sunday special. Kollmeyer wraps up the podcast with a new addition to the publication -- an extended version of what is coming up on campus that details events happening on and around the Northeast campus in a daily breakdown. It contains one of the most comprehensive lists of events and happenings on campus -- so if you have an event or happening on campus and want it mentioned on the podcast, please reach out. If you haven't subscribed to the podcast, now would be a good time to subscribe to stay up-to-date on all the happenings on the Northeast campuses and hear in-depth interviews with guests each week.
