Join hosts Daniella Down and Sairah Erens on an audio adventure — a trio of original monologues inspired by music.

Each monologue takes you on a different journey. There’s one that’s a rhythmic rumination about how and why some music just hits us the way it does. There’s the one about a prolific nightclub in Birmingham that was — for three years, anyway — arguably one of the greatest music venues in the world. And there’s the one about a daughter’s connection to a classical piano concerto and how it soundtracks her life.

Monologues

1. Life Isn't Just A Song And Dance — Written and performed by Charlie Bird

2. Mother's Club – Written by Rebecca Took and performed by Amy Leigh Sandford

3. Sonata Quasi Una Fantasia — Written and performed (including the music) by Sandy Topzand

Plugs and show notes
