I'd like to acknowledge the traditional owners of these lands, the Awabakal people, on which we gratefully get to live and learn today.
I also acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and pay my respects to any elders listening in the past, present and emerging

Matteo Grassi is a recovering addict, a qualified sniper of the Swiss army & a member of the Bra Boy brotherhood.
At the age of 25, Matteo has been battling his addiction for over 7 years. This has seen him locked up in prison cells, multiple rehab attempts and rock bottom on rock bottoms.
Matteo has spent the last 7 months in The Glen rehab facility, being loved back to life, including 3 months in their intense program and an additional 4 months in the transition program. This has seen Matteo working and buying his own car in that time frame.
Matteo dives into his life being born in Switzerland, moving to Maroubra Beach at the age of 10, a father who has played in Soccer World Cups and a very heavy lesson on why you shouldn't break curfew when going through sniper school in the Swiss army.
If you're struggling with addiction, you don't have to do it alone. There are meetings everyday around NSW and programs to help you get well like the Glen program for men and women.
