Why do some products survive into the business markets and other don’t? Why does disruptive innovations tend to be produced by outsiders and entrepreneurs, rather than existing market-leading companies? Each of these questions require a balancing act among the large or small size technology firms. These disruptive innovations are limited in their pursuit due to lack of potential profitability in the near term. Additionally, these advance technology developments can take scarce resources away from sustaining product lines or innovations. We begin our program describing what are disruptive technologies and how they survive. Our guest today is Mr. Brad Chase, with a very innovative product called NeuChroma. This is a vision improvement technology and long term vision care lense. For today’s show, we will learn about obstacles that are needed to be resolved.
