With a monster budget and an overwhelmingly negative trailer response, Star Wars fans were left bracing as the premiere of the first two episodes of The Acolyte dropped on June 4th on Disney+. The show takes place far back before any of the events of the Skywalker Saga and brings us new worlds, characters, costumes, and stories while retaining the same transition wipes and stoic Jediism we're used to.
