Greg (@gregbradyTO) spoke with Daniel Tate, a downtown concerned citizen, about his encounter with Councillor Chris Moise at an executive committee meeting regarding the Yonge-Dundas Square name change. At Tuesday's meeting, Tate brought forward a petition with 30,000 signatures in protest of the name change to Sankofa Square. In an off-mic exchange, the Councillor called Tate a 'racist' - and stood by his words when he joined Toronto Today Wednesday. Tate wanted the opportunity to respond.
