While the layperson may easily confuse copyright and trademark, a business owner can't afford to! Suzi Hixon is an expert in Trademark, but knows when to bring in a different voice to highlight an area out of that expertise. Rachel Santarlas has been a friend and colleague of Suzi's for years and there is no better guest expert to discuss the importance and application of Copyright law for Private Label businesses and brands. Rachel had so much to offer, in fact, that we had to break this episode into two. Make sure you subscribe to the show so you won't miss a single minute! Key takeaways: Attribution is not permission! "I didn't know!" is not a defense! Register copyrights sooner rather than later!
