This week, we're talking about preparing an effective Storm Campaign. If you're an exterior restoration company without a storm campaign prepped, you could miss the opportunity to target customers BEFORE the competition.
To be adequately prepared, we'd recommend having valuable content loaded and ready to publish no a moment’s notice. Content aimed for:
- Storm predicted
- Storm has hit
- What to do after the storm
If you don’t already, invest in a social scheduling tool that will allow you to have all of your content loaded so dates and times just have to be entered when a storm is about to hit (Loomly, Hootsuite, Later, take your pick!)
We recommend your storm campaign include:
- Email
- Social graphics & posts
- Blog content
- Ads (Google Ads, Display Ads, Social Ads)
- A landing page
- Gated content
During, and after the storm are also crucial times to gather marketing materials:
- Video & photos of active storm activity
- Video & photos of the aftermath
- Blog content detailing the storm, when & where it hit as well as what to do if you were impacted
