#204 In this episode of Trek TV we discuss Star Trek: The Next Generation S05E09 - "A Matter of Time". Hosted by Tracy and Vaughn. Guest starring Derek & Jared. Uh-oh, don't look now, but Max Headroom broke out of his mainframe, (probably) murdered a guy, stole his time ship, and headed straight for the Enterprise in a scheme as through in its research as it is questionable in its practicality! Rather than buying a winning lottery ticket or bringing back a 23rd-century sports almanac like any reasonable time-traveler, he'd prefer to irritate and/or hit on the entire Finest Crew in Starfleet, steal all their finest technology/knives/androids, and somehow reproduce it all with the manufacturing capabilities of 2 centuries in the past! You have to respect his love of The Con. And it's the right place to try, because obviously the enlightened people of the 24th century would never pass summary judgement on him if caught, forcing him to become permanently stranded hundreds of years from his home and everyone he's ever known and loved. Unless they were all testy from almost vaporizing an entire planet's atmosphere, but what are the odds of that? Probably the same odds that we won't be able to stop talking about relevant Boat Law, quoting notable Slavic historians, extolling the virtues of Chef Tony's most miraculous blades, revealing previously-unimagined Australian slurs, and so much more in this disarmingly gregarious episode of Trek TV!

Seriously, what was he planning to do with Data once he got back there?!
