Back in 2010 John Hughes came across the Starship Exter sets in a poor state of repair owing to the years spent in storage, they were essentially left to rot. Through various hands the sets were exchanged over the next six years where they eventually landed in Arkansas. Unfortunately this year they've been the victim of some malicious damage and now the focal point of some legal dramas between current custodians Glen Wolfe and Dan Reynolds. Jim Bray was one of the founding volunteers who travelled interstate to restore the sets, using his knowledge as a scenic artist. He's disappointed by the recent events and filed several video responses to my questions late last month. I've finally managed to push real life aside for long enough to record the final The Trekzone Spotlight of 2017:
