Dr. David Horn Solomon, CEO of Pharnext discusses PXT3003 which is currently focused on the treatment of Charcot Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease Type 1A. Charcot-Marie-Tooth is a degenerative nerve disease that usually appears in adolescence or early adulthood. CMT affects the Peripheral Nervous System. It is a progressive nerve disease. Nerves weaken over time, causing progressive disability starting in the toes and fingers and working toward the center of the body.
