Friends in the Industry -
For those operating in the transportation industry, it’s possible that you’ve heard of terms like “carrier compliance”, “operating authority” or “fitness certificates”. These are important terms, as they speak directly to a carrier’s ability to operate on the roadway.

In order for a carrier, also known as a trucking company, to have commercial vehicles operating on the road, a specific document they are required to maintain is an active Safety Fitness Certificate. This document is extremely important, as it’s proof of compliance with a number of different requirements.

In today’s episode, I am excited to bring back to the podcast, my good friend and industry leader Jeremy Woolward to discuss current and upcoming changes to maintaining the Safety Fitness Certificate.

You can learn more about Jeremy by checking out episode #8 of the podcast.

In this episode, Jeremy shares his journey on how he entered the transportation industry, and more specifically into the health and safety and transportation compliance sectors.

If you are a current trucking company or looking to venture out and start your own trucking company, then you definitely will want to take notes during this episode!
