In 1984, a young woman's charred body was discovered burning on a makeshift pyre near a California highway. Eleven months later, the body of another young woman was found in a box near a campground. Both women had been severely abused, but their identities remained unknown for years. It wasn't until 1993 that a woman came forward with a disturbing story about the fate of her two sisters at the hands of their abusive mother. The ensuing investigation revealed a shocking tale of torture, manipulation, and murder within a deeply troubled family, shedding light on the identities of the two Jane Does and the horrific circumstances that led to their deaths.
