What's up everyone, welcome to this week's episode of Trying 2 Parent podcast. Well folks, it seems like we're having a bit of a rollercoaster ride this week. On the one hand, we had a great week of helping families and putting some great life insurance policies in place. But on the other hand, our dog Nina has some health issues that don't seem to be getting better but we're keeping our fingers crossed for her.

In the news this week, we have an interesting story from Western Australia where a town has decided to ban the sale of energy drinks to under 18s to combat declining mental health. We want to know what you think about this, so let us know in the comments.

On a more lighthearted note, we're taking a trip down memory lane with our "I Love the 90s" segment. Do you remember what "AOL" stood for? Or what snack you could apply to your fingers to create witch fingernails? We'll be testing our knowledge of 90s pop culture, so make sure to tune in.

And speaking of history, did you know that in the 1930s, city dwellers hung baby cages outside their apartment windows so their children could get fresh air and sun? We'll be discussing this strange practice and what we think about it.

Finally, in our "Ask the Listeners" segment, we want to know: when is the right time to start talking to your kids about puberty? We'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

Oh, and one more thing - the mangos out here are the best I’ve ever had. But unfortunately, our power keeps going out and we're still not pregnant. And speaking of things that keep going wrong, we mentioned last week that we finally rebooked an appointment with the internet people, but they've done it again - they've messed us around. Tune in to hear all about it and of course we'll touch on our weekly episode of The Parent Test.

As always be sure to call in & leave us a voicemail or a sweet text with some advice or responses to the questions we ask and we'll be sure to play it on the podcast.
