Greg invites Bodhi Campbell on to the show. Bodhi is the Founder of The Bodhi Spot, a place for healing and transformation. Bodhi is also an ordained Unity Minister and a psychospiritual transformation coach. Everything we do in life is a practice, and that practice does slowly evolve over time. Bodhi entered into recovery 27+ years ago, and believes that working on men’s emotional well being is just as important as recovery work. Do not underestimate the power of your mind.

Key Takeaways:

[2:20] Who is Bodhi, and how did he get started in psychospiritual therapy?

[6:50] Everything in life is about practice. The 12 steps to recovery is a practice, meditation is a practice, and serving others is a practice.

[8:35] The good news is, the practice does evolve.

[9:20] After being more than 20 years sober, Bodhi no longer considers himself a broken alcoholic. His sobriety has turned into a spiritual practice.

[13:45] Pay attention to your soul’s growth.

[18:25] Your insecurities and anger play an important role, but they don’t need to control you.

[23:30] Bodhi discusses the importance of focusing on the heart’s energy.

[30:50] We have infinite wisdom inside of us. It’s important to trust our heart and the path that it’s taking us on.

[30:55] What advice does Bodhi have for people who are new to meditation?

[41:15] Giving and receiving are two sides of the same coin.

[45:45] Men’s work is just as important as doing recovery work.

[51:25] What does masculinity really mean?

[54:25] How does Bodhi get shit done?

[1:00:10] How can people get in touch with Bodhi and what is Bodhi most excited about in his business?
