We interview Kirsten Young, UNSOM Chief Human Rights Officer, and ask her about the significance of the occasion and what the United Nations does in Somalia to promote human rights across the country. We also interview Ahmed Abdi Omar, Head of the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Women and Human Rights Development of Somalia, and ask him why Human Rights Day matters and how public awareness of the issue can be promoted.
