In Part 2 of our medical school years series, we continue our conversation on the last two years of medical school. We discuss clinical rotations, figuring out what rotations we liked and what we did not like and how that informed our career choices. There are challenges, scheduling issues, grading concerns, and rounds (yeah we did not like rounds....but it is not that simple). Deciding on what specialty can be daunting. Hopefully, by the end of this episode, you will get a sense of what one needs to consider in making this decision. You are not alone.

02:09 Hilario's initial impressions of the OR
04:29 How medical schools construct rotation schedule
09:48 Logistics of rotations
12:59 Hilario's first rotations (OMG c-section)
25:04 Aneesh's first rotation
32:51 Surgical subspecialties
36:13 Grading in rotations
43:09 Figuring out what you like
