In this episode we take you into the Court of Appeals to hear the Judges ruling after the Prosecutors and DA's office filed an appeal of the jury's verdict in the civil case filed against them for the wrongful conviction of J.T. that resulted in him spending 18 years in prison, 14 on death row.
He was later exonerated.
If you've ever wondered how such a travesty could happen, pay close attention to the details recited in the Appellate Court's ruling.
If you belong to a church, fraternity, sorority or celebrate Junetennth and Dr. King this ruling should be of great concern to you, as it details one of the most overlooked causes or contributing causes of wrongful convictions, many that later result in exonerations.
