Uju Asika is a popular blogger, writer and speaker with a background in journalism and TV screenwriting. She is the author of Bringing Up Race: How To Raise a Kind Child in a Prejudiced World and the picture book A World for Me and You. Her new book Raising Boys Who Do Better: A Hopeful Guide for a New Generation was published by DK this month. Born in Nigeria, Uju grew up in the UK and has worked in London, New York and Lagos. She lives in north London with her husband Abiye and two teenage sons. In her spare time, Uju is a books and Netflix binger, kitchen raver, and Arsenal suffer head.
