Over the course of our conversation you will hear what we think about the early days of Hollywood franchising, how the Airport movies are either B-movies or Bond movies without Bond, and whether their titles reflect reality. We also talk about giving old stars stuff to do, Charlton Heston as a 60s Superman, monetizing The New Hollywood and whether it is a good idea to open the window in a supersonic jet flying at super-high altitudes, even if you're being chased by a stray rocket.
