In this episode I got the chance to sit down with the one and only Maryam Keshavarz. She is a bad-ass trailblazing Iranian female director who is responsible for some of the best diaspora made movies ever! From "Circumstance" to her newest release "The Persian Version" we talk about how she got into movie making, her inspiration behind her latest film and what it means to be a queer Iranian.
If you haven't seen the movie, I HIGHL recommend you do! Hands down, BEST Iranian movie I have ever seen. Find it in theatres now and go support so that we can have more of these chances to show off our vibrant Iranian culture... the RIGHT way!
