This is the Unionize Yoga Podcast. We are a clearinghouse on organizing, moving beyond the studio system, forming coops, and a space to share resources that uplift teachers. At least once a month you’ll hear a conversation with someone doing this critical organizing of making our industry and working conditions more equitable. You’ll hear from people unionizing studios – or fighting for specific campaigns– to people building worker and/or consumer cooperatives – to talking with people working in other ways to build racial, economic, and gender justice in our yoga and fitness workplaces and practices. These stories are shared as tools and inspiration for thought and action.
