In the last year of his life when he was campaigning for president, Robert Kennedy would close each speech with the words of George Bernard Shaw: “Some see things as they are and ask ‘Why? Others dream things that never were, and ask Why Not!” Senator Kennedy launched his campaign for the presidency to reassure Americans that even though his brother JFK had been assassinated a few years earlier, the ability to dream the impossible was still alive.
