Enlightenment – What/Who Inspires You?
There are many inspiring success stories here in the United States: Oprah, Steve Jobs, Ronald Reagan, Maya Angelou, Jimi Hendrix & Mark Twain to name just a few.
In the last year of his life when he was campaigning for president, Robert Kennedy would close each speech with the words of George Bernard Shaw: “Some see things as they are and ask ‘Why? Others dream things that never were, and ask Why Not!” Senator Kennedy launched his campaign for the presidency to reassure Americans that even though his brother JFK had been assassinated a few years earlier, the ability to dream the impossible was still alive. His campaign inspired millions to believe again that one person can make a difference. Join US World Report Radio this week as we examine this question Enlightenment, What/Who Inspires You?
How much did our parents, teachers, politicians, or religions influence us? Is there a secret gene all successful people have that drives them in their accomplishments? The answers may surprise you. Join Tom Osborne, Dr. David Kanervo, Mary Saliba and Ken McCaleb on this empathetic journey.
