About Erica

Erica Robert Pallo is a writer, media producer, library assistant, and independent scholar who loves a good story. And sometimes she even writes a decent one. As a narrative media maker, Erica has a background in just about every damn position on a film set (even stunts!) and has taught the wonders of cinema to children, university students, and professional adults aspiring to see their stories come to life on screen. Erica’s nonfiction work spotlights unsung voices via ethnographic documentaries, digital archives, archaeological podcasts, and the preservation of women’s historical writing. Oh, and a sprinkle of food culture projects, just to keep things trendy.

Erica first read Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles as a budding young Punk Rocker that was still trapped in the body of a Catholic school girl. As a stage performer, visual artist, and passionate consumer of literature and pop culture, Erica had only her repressed fighting spirit to show for it. Then Lestat de Lioncourt and his merry band of bloodsuckers entered her life and away went her inhibitions, and her innocence. Thank God! Thank Anne Rice!
