Emarosa from Lexington, Kentucky released their debut full length 'Relativity' in 2008. A masterstroke of post-hardcore and a complete departure from their early Metalcore sound, the record is the band at it’s peak. Powerful and intricate guitars, pounding drums, and ambient keys paired with the beautiful high vocals of infamous ex-Dance Gavin Dance frontman, Jonny Craig.
Emarosa’s “scene” period, their most important period of influence is long in the rearview and though sandwiched by two distinctly different versions of the band, the potential and talent the band showcased on Relativity and Self-Titled cannot be taken for granted. Sadly, like many projects Jonny Craig has been involved in, success was not sustainable.
