Once upon a time, In a faraway place — Stood a small town that was troubled, by an evil witch’s grace.

Every year the same night, Monsters woke and attacked — And the people had to fight, to protect their own land.

The monster army had the numbers, Werewolves, demons, and undead — Even creatures throwing thunders, and vampires spreading dread.

After years of misfortune, And a great deal of pain —People talked about their options, how the monsters they could slay.

The next year this dreaded night, In the town’s main square — Came a black cat named Midnight, with green eyes that would glare.

People thought she was a monster, In their houses got locked up — On the empty streets, she wandered, without even looking back.

She went straight into the forest, Little time she had left — As the cursed night drew closer, Midnight had to be quite deft.

Just in time, she finds the portal, That was created years ago — And would open on The Great Moon, allowing monsters to come through.

Her green eyes started pulsing, Her slim body to transform — As Midnight started casting, aspell in her human form.

The Disciples of Evil, gave it all and fought like hell — In the end, though, they were no match, for Midnight’s powerful spell.

The cat’s quest was now completed, And the peace had been restored — For The Night of the Monsters, could harm no one anymore.

No one saw her from that day, Cause she never came back — But Midnight became a legend, as their lives got back on track.
