As we have been moving through this series on prophecy we can firmly resolve that prophetic ministry was alive and viable for the first 600 years of church history (and longer). But did any problems arise? And if they arose, what did people do about said problems? Did the early fathers and mothers just allow erratic people to go unchecked, or did they attempt to disabuse them of their fanciful notions?
