Allison Chrestensen worked as an occupational therapist for years. Through her job, she thought she had a pretty good understanding of the patient experience. That was until Allison suffered a cardiac arrest and spent days in a coma. She survived, and walked away with a completely changed perspective on what it means to be a patient. In this episode, Allison and her husband, Mike, share their patient and caregiver experiences. Since her cardiac arrest, Allison started her own business.
