Richard Q. Turcsányi is the Deputy Director of the Institute of Asian Studies in Bratislava (Slovakia) and an Assistant Professor at Mendel University in Brno (Czech Republic). Richard is also an Associate Fellow at the Institute of International Relations Prague and a contributor to ChinfluenCE project mapping out China’s political and economic activity in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia. In his academic research, he focuses mostly on Central Europe’s relations with East Asia and Chinese foreign policy.
