To coincide with the release of Britney Spears' new memoir 'The Woman in Me', we're covering her 2002 film Crossroads as it re-releases in cinemas for a limited run.

Going with Daisy and Clare on their road trip is Film Critic and Podcaster Matthew Turner, who covered the film's initial release in 2002, being one of the small number of critics to praise the film.

Sitting at number 79 on IMDB's Bottom 100 at the time of recording, the trio talk about the talented cast and crew, the making of the film and how the release may have been subject to unfair criticism from older male critics.

Listen as Daisy explains what it's like to watch the film for the first time in 2023, Matt brings thoughtful insight to the pros of the film, and take a shot every time Clare mentions the director's commentary.

Stick around until the end to hear the gang discuss their favourite road trip movies!
