Seit Corona in Europa besprochen wird ist klar, wo das „Epizentrum“ des Virus ist: Italien.

Nicht nur gab es hier sehr lange die meisten Infizierten. Italien war auch das erste Land in Europa, das massive Ausgangseinschränkungen eingeführt hat und leider auch eines der Länder, deren Gesundheitssystem massiv unter den ersten Monaten gelitten hat.

Da KWiNK und Diemen Neugierig darauf waren einige der Eindrücke mal aus erster Hand zu hören um mal ein wenig Diskursabgleich zu betreiben.

Darum sprechen wir in diesem Podcast mit Sabrina, die nicht nur in der Lombardei, sondern sogar in Mailand lebt – Also einem der anfänglich am stärksten betroffenen Gegenden in Europa.

Leider spricht Sabrina kein Deutsch – was insofern nicht schlimm ist, dass wir dafür kein Italienisch sprechen – was bedeutet, dass dieses Interview auf Englisch stattfindet. Wir hoffen dennoch, dass ihr euch gut unterhalten fühlt und freuen und natürlich über euer Feedback!

Since the Corona-Crisis hit Europe it was very clear were it started: Italy

Not only was it the country with the most diseased people, it was also the first european state imposing heavy restrictions to their citizens and the first known lockdown here, while it’s public health system suffered a lot within the first months.

KWiNK and Diemen have been very curious about some first-hand experience and comparing the way we discuss Corona in different places in Europe.

Therefore we are talking to Sabrina, who’s not only living in Lombardy but actually in Milan – one of the places in Europe hit hardest in the first days.

Unfortunately Sabrina is not fluent in German – which is no flaw given that KWiNK and Diemen are not speaking Italian – so we needed to record the Interview in English. We still hope that you can enjoy the podcast and leave us a comment if you did!
