On todays episode we discuss the transition to the in season schedule and what considerations have to be made when an academic calendar is added onto an athletes plate. We talk FCS injury rate and why is can get dicey when a program like Illinois St comes to play a big boy like the Hawks, we talk in-season lifting groups and how to separate the team based on their training age and weekly physical volume, and how many days a week each group lifts. We finish with a discussion on how to treat a freshman like RVZ who is suddenly getting a lot of playing time but still needs to get great work in in the weight room.
