In the winter of 1989-90, former Major League players brought their achy backs and creaky knees to the newly formed Senior Professional Baseball Association. The SPBA quickly developed from a zany idea, and just as quickly went away. While the 1990 SPBA Pacific baseball card set isn't much to write home about, how this league even got off the ground is.
