Today is Part 2 of a conversation exploring fertility and what happens when you don't get the outcome you so desperately thought you wanted.

Sometimes there are certain outcomes that we think are a given in our lives. Things we just expect are going to happen at some point, and for many of us - it’s having babies!
This part of the conversation moves into some challenges of the fertility journey, IVF and exploring solo parenting via a sperm donor.

We peel back the layers of the underlying outcomes we might crave, sometimes masked by our desire to have children, and realising that nothing outside of us will fill any sense of desperation unless we can first find peace within ourselves.

Part 1 covers the assumptions we make about our own lives… the assumptions people make about us and women in general...how our culture values women… and re-evaluating where our sense of purpose and worth comes from when we don't tick the boxes on the cultural measuring stick.
It's a reflective conversation about the challenges on the fertility journey, the internal shifts and the life changing transformation we can experience by being present to our own journeys.
