Today, we've got an Excessive Heat Warning lingering around, so stay cool! Expect a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4 pm. It'll go from mostly cloudy to gradually sunny, with a high reaching 99 degrees. The heat index could make it feel as hot as 112. Winds will be calm, eventually shifting to the east-southeast at around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon.
Tonight, that 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms continues until 1 am. It'll be partly cloudy with temperatures dipping to around 75 degrees. The breeze will be light, starting from the east-southeast at 5 miles per hour before calming down.
As we roll into Tuesday, there's a slightly higher 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 pm. It'll be partly sunny with a high near 95, but watch out for the heat index climbing up to 105. Winds will be light, picking up to 5 to 10 miles per hour from the southeast.
Those shower and thunderstorm chances will stick around Tuesday night and on Wednesday as well, with temperatures ranging from the low 70s to around 90 degrees. So keep that umbrella handy!
